The artwork of
Nancy Breininger
ARTIST'S STATEMENT
“I have always been drawn to the beauty, shapes, and colors of nature. They have been the inspiration for the majority of my paintings—what better way to get inspired than to take a walk in the woods. When I see something with an interesting play of light and color, my first thoughts are about how I can reproduce that into a painting. Starting a new piece of art can be both challenging and intimidating, but when the final piece has the look and feel that I wanted, it is so rewarding. To know that someone has looked at one of my paintings and felt the same is even better.”
